Chillicothe Family Pharmacy was born out of the idea that the healthcare and quality of life for the residents of Chillicothe, MO and the surrounding communities could be improved through the increased use of the knowledge and skills of a pharmacist.

Since graduating from pharmacy school over 10 years ago, pharmacist/owner, Scott Cady, Pharm.D., has had a passion to serve his community by passing along healthcare information in a way both patients and healthcare professionals can understand. With this understanding, Dr. Cady then helps his patients integrate this knowledge into their everyday lives, thus improving their quality of life.

Scott Cady, Pharmacist/Owner

Scott Cady grew up in Lenexa, KS.  He earned a Bachelor Degree in Biology from Baylor University in Waco, TX and his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Kansas in 2006.

Prior to attending Pharmacy school, Scott worked in Phase I Pharmaceutical Research.  After graduation, he worked as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital setting in addition to working at a retail pharmacy. Later, Scott transitioned to working only in retail pharmacies, which he enjoys because it gives him greater opportunity and access to communicate with the patients he serves.

He has lived in Chillicothe since 2005 with his wife, Mary, and their four children, Ben, Ella, Anna and Ezekiel.  Dr. Cady has served for several years on the Board of Directors of the Missouri Pharmacists Association, and on the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Board for the North Missouri region. He also loves the outdoors and sports, especially duck hunting and golf.  Scott is a member of the Chillicothe United Methodist Church. He enjoys volunteering for the church as well coaching youth soccer.
